The shared goal is to unlock the operational potential of small structures that make up nearly 90% of the country's businesses, but whose net financial contribution to the formal gross domestic product is hindered by the omnipresence of the informal sector and the scarcity of credit lines.

The recovery of the private sector's competitiveness relies on the financial support of multilateral institutions. The International Development Association validated a $100 million grant on October 31, 2025, equivalent to 57,170 billion CFA francs, intended to strengthen the operational capacities of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. These budgetary resources will finance the creation of the Enterprise Development Center, the establishment of an interbank guarantee fund, and the deployment of financial education programs targeting women and young entrepreneurs in particular.

The modernization of financing instruments is part of an expanding macroeconomic framework. The International Monetary Fund estimates Chad's gross domestic product at $25.63 billion (14,652,671 billion CFA francs) for 2026, representing an annual growth rate of 5.2%. The national population, estimated at 21,560,380 inhabitants, records a growth in its gross domestic product per capita, which increases to $1,315 in 2026, marking a gain of $150 compared to the $1,165 recorded in 2025, representing a positive variation of 12.9%. The lifting of constraints on credit will enable the transformation of these statistical advances into sustainable job creations across all regions.
