The Cameroonian government is deploying a global envelope of 5.5 billion CFA francs within the framework of the second cycle of the Business Plans Competition, led by the Adaptive Social Safety Nets and Economic Inclusion Project (PFS-AIE). Piloted by the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Territorial Development (Minepat), this initiative aims to stimulate the growth of 1,000 emerging enterprises led by promoters aged 18 to 35.


Whether they operate in the formal or informal sector, eligible structures must justify an existence of between one and three years and align with the priority sectors defined by the national strategy, such as construction, textile industry, digital, or agro-industry.

Each laureate selected at the end of the evaluation process will benefit not only from direct financial support representing an average grant of 5.5 million CFA francs, but also from a technical accompaniment program including specialized training, mentoring sessions, and rigorous post-financing follow-up.


Distributed across six regional metropolises to ensure balanced territorial coverage, the funding opportunities are addressed to a rigorous selection of 1,500 dossiers pre-selected by a specialized firm.

This public intervention fits within the continuity of policies promoting youth employment and strengthening the local productive fabric.


By fostering the emergence of economic champions equipped with viable business models, the device aims to amplify the contribution of young enterprises to value creation and the country's macroeconomic resilience in the coming years.
