Mines: La Sonamines extracts 1.2kg of gold from the Colomine site
La Sonamines extracts 1.2kg of gold from the Colomine site, with a total gold reserve of 2,726.28 grams. This growth is supported by the direct extraction of 1,205.58 grams of raw material. The mining quota capture mechanism guarantees an advance on the dividends owed to the public treasury.

The final gold reserve, with an average grade of 20.22 carats, totals 2,726.28 grams of gold collected over a period from February 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025. The growth of the public gold reserve has been supported over the past twelve months by the direct extraction of 1,205.58 grams of raw material from the Comincor S.A. company, which operates the small sedimentary deposit located in Colomine, in the East region.
The mining quota capture mechanism is executed in the form of a monthly production sharing, which serves as an advance on the dividends owed to the public treasury. The extraction applied to Colomine is based on the regulatory rate of 5% allocated to public interests, placing the total production volume of the mine at approximately 24.1 kilograms of gold for the year 2025 alone. The contractual device, also applicable to the operations of Quarrycam S.A., aims to transform theoretical concessions into tangible budgetary gains for the public treasury. The evaluation exercise highlights the public body's ability to control the traceability of precious materials extracted from the subsoil in order to avoid the evasion of natural resources into informal circuits.
However, the effectiveness of national mining recovery remains contrasted due to logistical failures observed in non-ferrous substance deposits. The recovery of the 5% quota on the marble of the Bidzar Bloc B permit, co-exploited in the north by Cimencam S.A. and Quarrycam S.A., records significant delays in payment. The conventional calculation formula provides for a fixed valuation of 9,000 CFA francs per ton of raw marble, with a technical discount of 15%, bringing the reference value to 7,650 CFA francs per ton. The final royalty due to the State is thus set at 382.5 CFA francs per ton produced, but the absence of declaration of extracted volumes prevents the accounting settlement of the receivable revenue, highlighting the need for strengthened controls on site by the mining administration.
