National regulatory officials highlight an execution pace ahead of the initially validated schedule. However, the balance sheet drawn up by the community bodies retains a relative opacity in economic terms due to the lack of updated data. The latest published financial reports date back to March 2024, a period during which the operational management claimed to have injected over 45 billion FCFA into the global investment program of 200 billion FCFA promised over five years.

The financial transaction concluded for an amount of $459.8 million (280.47 billion FCFA) consolidates the supremacy of the Brasseries Glacières et Internationales subsidiary on the national market. The integration of the Guinness brand guarantees the group control of nearly 80% of beer distribution in Cameroon and over 90% of the market share of flavored alcoholic beverages. This dominant position, contested without success by the Cameroon Brewery Union until the definitive extinction of the judicial dispute in July 2024, reorganizes the supply flows in the CEMAC space. The Cameroonian industrial hub now manufactures and exports glass packaging and plastic crates to Chad and the Central African Republic, strengthening cross-border economic synergy.

Industrial expansion prospects include the integration of the Garoua and Yaoundé factories into the community monitoring system next year. The reinforcement of production capacities is expected to ensure the radiation of the production apparatus to all national and sub-regional urban centers. The CEMAC regulatory system thus records a textbook case in terms of monitoring commercial concentration operations, validating the balance between industrial sovereignty and market regulation in the sub-region.
