Ranking: Camtel Consolidates Its Status as a First-Category Public Enterprise
An upward financial trajectory confirms the operator’s status as a reference operator, held by the public company. The decree of August 13, 2026, signed by the Minister of Finance and establishing the categorization of public enterprises, renews Cameroon Telecommunications’ position at the top tier of the national portfolio, rewarding the progress observed during the 2022, 2023, and 2024 fiscal years.

Under the leadership of Judith Yah Sunday épouse Achidi, the company records a clear increase in its commercial activity. Thus, revenues from network services rose from 184.2 billion FCFA in 2022 to 217 billion FCFA at the end of the 2024 fiscal year. In parallel, net profit appreciated to reach 12.7 billion FCFA, compared to 9.2 billion FCFA two years earlier, driven by increased bandwidth sales and the extension of leased links to private actors.
Beyond these performances, the year 2025 marked this scale change thanks to consolidated revenues exceeding 235 billion FCFA, generating a net result above 13 billion FCFA. Thanks to mastery of operating costs and diversification of mobile offerings, the structure strengthens its budgetary autonomy facing the heavy burdens of terrestrial network maintenance.
Investments injected into the deployment of fiber optics consolidate the operator’s role as a pivot of national digitization. Moreover, the solidity of the balance sheet improves the company’s standing with international lenders, ensuring the raising of necessary capital to finance the extension of coverage across the entire territory
