Under the leadership of General Manager Abakal Mahamat, the financial institution donated a first batch of 300 desks to the departmental delegation of Basic Education of Logone-et-Chari, intended to supply 6 primary schools in the sector. A second delivery of an identical volume of 300 units is scheduled for October 2026, bringing the total donation to 600 pieces of furniture.

The intervention also includes a component of access to hydraulic resources with the inauguration of a drinking water well at the bilingual primary school of application in the locality. The work is part of the institutional program "Les Puits de l'Espoir" (Wells of Hope), launched on the 15th anniversary of the bank's subsidiary, which has already completed 100 water points in the North and Far North regions. In parallel, the bank's management laid the foundation stone of a future integrated therapeutic nutrition center within the Kousseri Regional Hospital, planning the complete rehabilitation and equipment of the pediatric block by the end of the year.

The simultaneous establishment of a new commercial bank branch in the departmental capital reflects a desire to anchor the bank in the local territory and revitalize the socio-economic environment. The investments made in the educational and medical fields complement the group's previous operations, such as the renovations carried out in the surgical and obstetric services of Bafang. The approach aims to make banking expansion a support for improving living conditions, targeting the reduction of the deficit in school equipment and the strengthening of capacities for the care of pediatric pathologies and infant malnutrition in the region.
