This consultation allowed for the examination of the technical, financial, and legal aspects of a project to implement a photovoltaic solar power plant with a peak capacity of 250 MWdc, backed by a net injection capacity of 200 MW in the locality of Ntui.


Carried out by this promoter consortium, the initiative aims to densify the available energy supply and strengthen the security of supply of the interconnected grid. The discussions enabled a detailed analysis of the installation architecture, the technical modalities for connection to high-voltage transmission networks, as well as the soundness of the proposed financial structure to ensure the economic viability of the operation.


In a context where optimizing production costs is an imperative for the competitiveness of local enterprises, the rapid integration of such solar capacities represents a major lever for alleviating tensions on the grid.

Through the rigorous instruction of this title application file, the regulator confirms its role in supporting private investments based on clean energies.


The realization of this project in Ntui will not only broaden the range of production sources but will also contribute to the transition toward a more sustainable development model, serving the performance of the public electricity service and the country’s economic growth.
