The operational governance of the institution rests on the chairmanship of Serge Ngoube Edjenguele, who combines the roles of board chairman and chief executive officer. A former senior executive at global asset management leader BlackRock and at stock exchange operator Euronext in Paris, this specialist in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) also served at Société Générale and HSBC groups, before heading investor services at EDC Investment Corporation in Douala. To orchestrate Investall's operational development, the deputy general management has been entrusted to Marthe Epanya Oho Teki. Her roadmap targets the structuring of corporate savings solutions and investment products tailored to the institutional liquidity of the CEMAC zone, in synergy with the investment support tools developed by the Investally platform.
Despite its legal incorporation, the launch of the company's regulated activities remains conditional upon obtaining prior approval from the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (Cosumaf). The granting of this operating license will enable Investall to intervene directly on the secondary market of the Central African Securities Exchange (BVMAC) and to participate in placement syndicates for sovereign bond issues.
Once the sub-regional regulator's authorization is secured, the entity will have to establish itself against historical players already entrenched in the CEMAC banking and financial landscape, such as BGFIBourse, Financia Capital, CBC Bourse, or EDC Investment Corporation. The capture of arranger mandates and the mobilization of private savings will constitute key indicators for assessing this new entrant's capacity to deepen the regional financial market.
