The loyalty initiative allowed for the distribution of a total of 25 refilled liquefied petroleum gas bottles, with a final wave awarded to 16 winners during the closing ceremony in Douala.
The implementation of the promotional campaign reflects the public distributor's desire to strengthen its market share in the national household gas market, estimated at over 120,000 tons of annual consumption in Cameroon. By leveraging interactive platforms and user-generated visual content, the subsidiary of the National Hydrocarbons Corporation seeks to stimulate the adoption of its brand in the face of competing import and distribution networks for LPG. The valorization of customer proximity is integrated into the global plan for expanding the network of service stations, which already has over 90 points of sale across the national territory and in the Central African sub-region.
The investment in relational marketing actions accompanies the increase in the company's storage and bottling capacities. By targeting household consumption through direct incentives, the company secures the rotation of its gas bottle fleet and boosts the volume of retail sales, a segment with a high frequency of purchase that generates regular cash flows. The completion of the July 2026 campaign marks an intermediate stage in the calendar of commercial animations planned by the general management for the current fiscal year, aiming to optimize market shares in the distribution of finished petroleum products.
