The new entity brings together 5 shareholders within the board of directors, chaired by entrepreneur Elvis Berlin Mouafo, with the general management entrusted to Zakari Yaou Abdoul. The statutory roadmap aims at import-export and the deployment of points of sale on the domestic market, materializing a desire to diversify outside the telecommunications sector.

The effective start of activities remains pending the issuance of administrative authorizations by the Ministry of Water and Energy. In accordance with the decree of November 13, 2000, regulating fuel distribution, the specifications require approved operators to deploy at least 20% of their network of service stations outside departmental capitals. The entry ticket also requires the presentation of financial guarantees and storage infrastructure compatible with the requirements of the National Shippers Council and the Cameroonian Petroleum Deposits Company, while the market remains dominated by established players managing sub-networks of several dozen stations.

The capital contribution of 100 million FCFA constitutes the obligatory legal basis, but calls for additional fundraising to finance logistics and massive supplies. Faced with major competitors like Tradex, Bocom Petroleum or Neptune Oil, the profitability of the young structure will depend on the chosen strategy: building a proprietary network or partnering with independent managers. The success of the project will measure the ability of local private capital to impose itself in the value chain of the downstream petroleum subsector.
