Expansion: CCA Bank Inaugurates New Branches in Douala
By simultaneously deploying three new operating points in the economic capital on October 13, 2026 — including a wealth engineering branch in Bonapriso, the reopening of the renovated Akwa site, and a new location in Yassa — CCA Bank reaches a new milestone in its territorial coverage strategy. Led by CEO Alvine Désirée Tiwoda, the institution reaffirms its growth ambitions by densifying its local banking services and private banking segment.

Within the new commercial setup, the Bonapriso site marks the strengthening of the bank's high-end offering with the "CCA Premium Banking" concept. Designed on the model of the VIP counter at Bastos in Yaoundé, this structure dedicated to high-net-worth clients and business leaders prioritizes personalized support, asset management, and accelerated execution of international transactions in a confidential setting.
In parallel, the inauguration of the Akwa site carries major symbolic and strategic significance. Fully rebuilt and modernized fourteen months after a fire destroyed its former premises, this branch reintegrates the historic business center of the metropolis. The geographic coverage simultaneously expands with the Yassa point of sale, positioned in the eastern periphery to capture the industrial and residential momentum of this urban expansion zone.
This expansion in the Littoral region foreshadows a new wave of openings scheduled in the urban basins of Yaoundé (Ahala, Nkolbisson, Bastos) and Bafoussam (Markets B and C). It reflects the upward financial trajectory of an institution that has risen from 15th place nationally at the time of its banking license in 2018 to 4th place in the sector in 2026.
Backed by a balance sheet total exceeding 1,300 billion CFA francs, CCA Bank reports deposit outstandings of 1,038 billion CFA francs and a distributed loan volume of 677 billion CFA francs in support of the real economy. The network expansion, which now comprises 61 branches spread across the country's ten regions, aims to sustain return on equity by increasing the collection of stable, low-cost resources.
