The meeting allowed for a review of the total capital mobilized in favor of local businesses and infrastructure projects over the past few years. The multilateral organization currently manages a portfolio of active commitments and technical assistance projects worth several hundred billion FCFA on the national territory, targeting the strengthening of capacities in energy production, the extension of transportation networks, agro-industry, agriculture, and digital technology.

The bilateral consultation confirmed the central role of the partnership between the public sector and private investors in achieving the objectives set by the SND30. The actions carried out under the supervision of the regional representation have improved the regulatory framework for businesses, stimulated the promotion of direct investments, and facilitated access to long-term financial resources for companies. The joint action has supported major projects in electricity production and agricultural transformation, while promoting the connection of small and medium-sized enterprises to regional value chains.

The two parties reiterated their common will to maintain a high level of private capital injection into the country's priority industrial projects. The continuation of technical and financial support from the multilateral affiliate should ensure Cameroon's industrial transformation, by mobilizing financial engineering mechanisms adapted to the constraints of emerging markets in the sub-region.
