Led by Ambassador Christian Sedat, the employers' delegation brings together over twenty German companies that have come to assess the incentive reforms implemented by the government. The talks resulted in the imminent programming of a bilateral agreement protocol, designed to structure industrial investments and facilitate the establishment of joint ventures in the technological and educational sectors.
The interest of investors from Frankfurt and Munich focuses on the recent mechanisms for simplifying regulatory procedures, particularly the operationalization of the one-stop shop for business creation support. The exchanges made it possible to present the legal guarantees and tax exemptions intended to secure external capital contributions. The companies in the delegation operate mainly in the digital economy, software engineering, and high-value-added technical training services segments. The alignment with the German production model, traditionally based on the robustness of the SME fabric, aims to modernize the logistical chains of Cameroonian subcontractors through direct technological transfers.
The Berlin authorities intend to perpetuate business flows through an official invitation addressed to Cameroonian economic leaders to participate in the major business forum planned in Germany on April 6th. The bilateral summit will bring together a network of around 6,000 European entrepreneurs, constituting a premier financial showcase for capturing new private funding. The adherence of German investors to Yaoundé's development priorities confirms the role of pivot platform devolved to Cameroon for access to the Central African integration zone markets. The future conventional framework between the two nations will serve as a legal basis for minimizing sovereign risks and intensifying intercontinental trade exchanges.
