The company, with an initial capital of 317.5 million FCFA, relies on the approval granted in March 2026 by the Central African Financial Market Surveillance Commission. The operator joins a rapidly expanding sector where brokerage firms manage a global portfolio estimated at 3,169 billion FCFA as of December 31, 2025, showing an annual growth of 77%.

The market structure remains dominated by bond securities representing 1,542 billion FCFA, followed by Treasury bills at 843 billion FCFA, mutual fund shares at 162 billion FCFA, and listed shares representing 63 billion FCFA. The newly approved entity integrates a competitive space comprising 25 brokerage firms spread across the sub-region, including 19 establishments based in Cameroon.

The structuring of tailored bond issuance operations offers private companies alternative long-term financing options compared to traditional bank credit. Enhanced financial analysis capabilities refine the credit risk assessment of infrastructure issuers. Directly connecting institutional investors with project holders accelerates private capital allocation.

The orientation of savings flows towards the bond market stimulates the financing of regional industrial investments. The diversification of approved intermediaries boosts the trading volumes recorded on the secondary market. The presence of experienced professionals increases the overall financial transparency of companies making public appeals for savings.
