This overall fundraising of 80.558 billion FCFA aims to bring the free-float portion tradable on the secondary market to 10%, following a first tranche of 45.325 billion FCFA already subscribed by investors.
Led by Group Chairman and CEO Henri-Claude Oyima, the mobilized resources are intended to support the rollout of the "BGFI 2030" strategic plan, which aims to extend the institution's operational presence to 15 countries by the end of the decade. The arguments presented to the Cameroonian financial center rest on solid balance sheet performance: as of December 31, 2025, consolidated total assets stood at 7,428 billion FCFA (+25% year-on-year), backed by net banking income of 414 billion FCFA (+26%) and net income of 133 billion FCFA (+9%).
The completion of this operation reinforces the driving role played by the banking group in the dynamism of the sub-regional financial market.
Since its listing on May 7, the stock's entry has substantially altered the BVMAC's overall market capitalization, lifting it from 479.45 billion to over 1,710 billion FCFA. By enabling institutional and retail investors from the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) to directly participate in the results of a group with more than 3,150 employees across 12 countries, the issuer consolidates its status as the sub-region's leading listed stock.
