The logistical deployment at the container terminal of the Douala Autonomous Port (PAD) materializes the arrival of a total of 2,510 tonnes of grain, valued at 1,673,000,000 CFA Francs. The cargo manifest details a sectoral distribution comprising 1,630 tonnes of rice and 880 tonnes of wheat. The ongoing unloading operations concern a first tranche conditioned into five distinct subdivisions, including a group of 418 tonnes of wheat, a section of 552 tonnes of rice, and a batch of 462 tonnes of wheat representing a unit value of one billion CFA Francs. The planning of maritime transport provides for the unloading of two additional cargoes before the end of June, consisting of 552 tonnes of rice and 526 tonnes of wheat.

The Chinese institutional support comes in a context of rationalization of budgets dedicated to emergency humanitarian interventions. The economic and commercial counselor of the Chinese embassy reaffirmed his country's commitment to financing social stabilization mechanisms, recalling the history of bilateral agreements concluded since 1961. The Cameroonian ministerial authorities have validated the sanitary conformity and packaging protocols for the goods in order to initiate the immediate transfer of stocks to the priority intervention areas of the territory, minimizing storage delays to curb the volatility of prices of mass consumption products.
